Seeing the Multitudes

Seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, 

and when He was seated His disciples came to Him.

Matthew 5:1

As we begin the holiday season, once again, we find ourselves amidst the multitudes of people scrambling to make this season memorable, not only for ourselves, but also for our loved ones.  The disciples followed Jesus up the mountain to hear what He had to say to them... His words for a memorable life.

As we enter into this time of celebrating His birth, may we, like the disciples, take the time to hear what He would say to us.  During this time of break from the women's Bible study (beginning the day after Thanksgiving),  I will be posting a daily reflection from our studies on the Sermon on the Mount.  It is my prayer for you that these moments of reflection help  to keep your focus on Jesus. As you shop and cook and decorate and wrap, may you find your gaze focused upward - toward the "Mount".


May your holidays be blessed by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as you purpose in your heart to do "more" this season. (see Matthew 5:47)
